Medical Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Homestead! Mani Specialty Center is a health care clinic that specializes in testing, treatment and prevention. This part-time position involves morning and afternoon hours and offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and medical history
Perform phlebotomy procedures, including blood draws, with precision & care`
Perform routine laboratory tests and prepare specimens for laboratory services
Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all patients
Qualifications:
Certification: Phlebotomy Technician
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus
Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a clinic or outpatient setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
CPR certification is preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
